Dentyaan

The dental record that sees and listens.

Patient records, follow-ups, reminders, lab orders and billing for small dental clinics, and a register that never forgets a follow-up. On the phones your clinic already has, in English, हिंदी and తెలుగు.

Comes with

  • Patient data kept in India
  • Works when the internet drops
  • English, हिंदी, తెలుగు
Dentyaan on a phone: today's patients in token order, with who is waiting, in the chair and done.

What the paper register costs a clinic

Most small clinics run on a register book, a diary and memory. It works, until a patient slips through.

Root canals left half done

A patient misses the second sitting, and nobody notices until the tooth hurts again.

Lab work chased by phone

Was the crown sent? Is it back? Someone has to call and ask.

History buried in old registers

When a patient comes back after two years, their last treatment is somewhere in a pile of books.

Money you cannot see

Collections, dues and lab bills add up only at the end of the month, if at all.

Dentyaan keeps all of it in one place, on the phones you already have.

How Dentyaan works

Three steps, the same way your clinic already works.

  1. 1

    Register the patient

The assistant adds a new patient in a few taps, or finds an old one by name, phone or OP number. Medical alerts show on every visit.

  2. 2

    Treat and record

Mark the tooth chart, take photos with Dentyaan Cam and speak your notes to Dentyaan Pod. The prescription and the bill take a few taps.

  3. 3

    Dentyaan follows up

The next sitting is booked by itself, and the patient gets a reminder in their own language. Missed visits come back on the morning call list.

In the chair

Photos and notes go straight into the record.

Dentyaan comes with its own intraoral camera and mic. Your hands stay on the patient while the record fills up.

Dentyaan Cam

Our intraoral camera

Dentyaan Cam from above: a slim white handpiece with the Dentyaan logo, and a small camera head at the tip with a ring of lights around the lens.
Camera head with its own ring light
The other side of Dentyaan Cam: two round red buttons on the handle, next to the Dentyaan logo.
One-press buttons: the photo goes straight into the record

Patients see their own teeth on the screen: the cavity, the crack, the worn filling. A photo explains in seconds what takes minutes to describe, and before and after photos show the work you did.

  • Press a button on the Cam and the picture goes straight into the patient's record. Take several in a row, then tag the teeth and mark them before, during or after.
  • Show earlier photos beside today's to compare.
  • Already have a USB intraoral camera? It works too, and so does the phone camera, with light and zoom for close-ups.
  • Rent it on the Plus plan, or buy it to keep. See plans

Dentyaan Pod

Our mic for voice notes

Dentyaan Pod: a small white pendant with the Dentyaan logo on a chain, linked to a phone that is recording a voice note.

Wear the Pod, or set it on the dental table. It connects to the clinic phone over Bluetooth, so nobody holds a phone through the visit. Talk to the patient as you always do, in Telugu, Hindi, English or a mix. Dentyaan writes the chief complaint, history, findings, diagnosis, procedure done and advice. Medicines you name can go straight onto the prescription.

  • The doctor reads the draft, corrects it and saves it.
  • It records only the visit you start, and only when the patient agrees. The recording is deleted once the note is saved, unless the clinic chooses to keep it.
  • No Pod at hand? The phone's own mic works too.
  • Prefer to write? Take a photo of your handwritten page, and Dentyaan reads it for you to check.
  • Rent it on the Plus plan, or buy it to keep. See plans

At the camp in Pilani: Dr. Mallika Adapa checks a child's teeth with the Dentyaan Cam, with the laptop on the table beside her. The Dainik Bhaskar report of 14 October 2026, with a photo of the camp: Dr. Mallika Adapa checks a child's teeth with the Dentyaan Cam, a laptop on the table beside her.

In the news

Dentyaan Cam at a school dental camp in Pilani

Covered by Dainik Bhaskar, Chirawa edition, 14 October 2026

Dr. Mallika screened the children with the Dentyaan Cam on a laptop. Each child saw their own teeth on the screen, so a cavity was something they could see, not just a word.

What it does for your clinic

Dentyaan replaces the register book, the appointment diary, the lab notebook and the cash book.

Fewer half-done treatments

Every treatment that needs more than one visit books its next sitting by itself. Missed visits come back on the next morning's call list.

Any patient's history in seconds

Visits, teeth, X-rays, prescriptions and bills in one place, found by name, phone or OP number. No more turning the pages of old registers.

Prescriptions in a few taps

Printed on your letterhead, with allergies and pregnancy flagged while you write. Patients see them on their phone too.

Lab work that does not get lost

Every lab order, scan referral and pharmacy order has a status. Partners update it from a WhatsApp link, and you are told when work is ready.

Money you can see

What was billed, collected and is still due, by day, doctor and procedure, with cash, UPI and card in one place.

Patients who feel cared for

Reminders and prescriptions in their own language, and their full dental record on their own phone.

See Dentyaan at work

A full visit in under three minutes, at AB's Multi-speciality Dental Clinic, Kakinada.

  • The front desk registers the patient, with consent, and gives a token
  • The doctor talks as usual and the case sheet writes itself, for the doctor to check
  • Dentyaan Cam photos go straight into the patient's record
  • The prescription in plain words, and the bill paid by UPI QR
  • The visit summary on WhatsApp, and the patient's own record on their phone
  • The next sitting booked by itself

A day at the clinic

Built around the way a small clinic already works: the register, the token and the case sheet.

1

At the front desk

Register a patient in a few taps, with the same columns as your register book. Their medical history is noted once; diabetes, BP, blood thinners, pregnancy and allergies then show as alerts on every visit. Each patient gets a token, and everyone sees who is waiting, in the chair or done.

2

In the chair

Mark the tooth chart with FDI numbers, or type it the way you write the register: 36 RCT, 46 EXT. Speak the notes to the Dentyaan Pod instead of typing them. Prescriptions take a few taps, with allergies and pregnancy flagged while you write. Photos from the Dentyaan Cam or the phone, RVG, OPG and CBCT go into the same record, before and after.

3

At the counter

The bill is made from the treatments already entered. Take cash, UPI or card, or part of it, and the rest shows as due. Send the receipt on WhatsApp in the patient's language. Materials used come out of stock by themselves.

4

Every morning

The assistant opens one list of calls: today's patients, reminders for the next working day, lab work that is back, and missed visits. One tap calls the patient, or opens WhatsApp with the message ready in their language.

A patient's visit: the root canal on 36 is in progress, the next sitting is planned, and the tooth chart shows it.

Follow-ups that book themselves

When a sitting is done, the next one is booked by itself. The treating doctor can change any date.

  • Treatments that take more than one visit book each sitting as the last one finishes.
  • Missed visits come back on the next morning's call list, with the treatment still open.
  • Reminders go out on WhatsApp in the patient's own language.
  • When the lab sends the work back, the fitting goes on the call list the same day.
  • Patients not seen for six months come up for a check-up.

Labs, scan centres and pharmacies

Send an order in a couple of taps. The lab, scan centre or pharmacy gets it on WhatsApp with a link and updates it from there, with no app and no login.

  • Lab orders with teeth, shade, material and due date, from sent to fitted.
  • Scan referrals, with the images and report back in the patient's record.
  • Prescriptions to a nearby pharmacy for pickup or home delivery.
  • Partners see only what they need for the work, nothing else from the record.

For your patients

After each visit, one tap sends the patient a WhatsApp message in their language with what was done, the next visit and a link to their record.

  • Their record opens on their phone with the last 4 digits of their number: visits, plan, prescriptions, X-rays and bills.
  • They can download a copy, ask for a correction or deletion, or stop reminders, as India's DPDP Act allows.
  • Consent for records, reminders and voice notes is recorded for each patient.

Records and numbers

Each day's patients in register order, with new and old OP counted. Download any period as an Excel file for your accounts.

  • The doctor sees today's patients, treatments not finished, lab work and notes waiting.
  • The owner sees billed and collected, dues, procedures, stock running low and follow-ups kept or missed.
  • You are told when lab work is ready or a scan centre uploads images.

More, when you want it

These start switched off, so the app stays simple on day one. The clinic owner turns any of them on in Settings.

  • Treatment estimates to print or send on WhatsApp
  • Consent forms in the patient's language, signed on the phone or on paper
  • Appointment requests from a link or a QR poster
  • Google review requests after treatment
  • Treatment explainers and care advice on WhatsApp
  • Check-up reminders every 6 months
  • Mouth cancer check for patients who use tobacco
  • X-ray help, where AI notes existing work for the doctor to check
  • Guided photo set, the standard dental photos one by one
  • Expenses and lab bills, month by month
  • Old records in bulk, read from photos of case sheets and register pages
  • Import from Excel, your existing patient list

Questions dentists ask

How much does Dentyaan cost?

It depends on your clinic: how many doctors you have, whether you want the Dentyaan Cam and Pod, and how much you use voice notes. There are three ways to start. Starter gives you every feature on the phones you already have. Plus adds the Dentyaan Cam and Dentyaan Pod on rent. Or stay on Starter and buy the devices to keep. Ask for a demo or message us on WhatsApp, and we will send you a price that fits your clinic.

Do we need the internet all the time?

No. Dentyaan keeps working when the internet drops and sends your changes once the connection is back. You need the internet to sign in the first time, and to open a screen you have never opened on that phone.

Is patient data safe? Where is it kept?

It is stored in Google Cloud in Mumbai, India, and backed up every night. Photos and X-rays are never on an open link. Each person has their own login and sees only what their role needs, and every important change records who made it and when.

Which phones and computers does it work on?

Any Android phone, iPhone, tablet or computer. Use it in the browser (Chrome works best) and add it to the home screen, or download the Dentyaan app for Windows, Mac or Android from this page.

Do we have to use the Dentyaan Cam and Pod?

No. The phone's own camera and mic work with the same record, and so does a USB intraoral camera you already have. Take the Cam and Pod on rent with the Plus plan, or buy them, when you want them.

Can my assistant use it in Telugu or Hindi?

Yes. Each phone can be set to English, Hindi or Telugu, and patients get their messages in their own language.

How long does it take to learn?

We set up your clinic and show your team on their own phones. Extra tools start switched off, so day one stays simple: register, treat, bill and remind.

Can we bring in our old records?

Yes. Photograph old case sheets or register pages and Dentyaan reads them into patients for you to check, or bring in your patient list from Excel. Old patients can also be added as they come back.

We have more than one clinic, or a doctor who visits several. Does that work?

Yes. One login works across clinics, and each clinic's patients stay separate.

Can patients see their own records?

Yes. After a visit the patient can get a WhatsApp link to their record. It opens with the last 4 digits of their phone number and shows their visits, treatment plan, prescriptions, X-rays and bills.

What happens to our data if we stop using Dentyaan?

It stays yours. Download the register as an Excel file and any patient's full record as a standard FHIR file at any time. When you leave, we delete your clinic's data on request.

How do we get help?

Message or call us on +91 79765 46258, write to info@dentyaan.com, or use Report a problem inside the app.

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp.
